Hi all! I have a question about how my clit is looking. The larger bulb/blob/round thing/knob (how does one describe this?? Lol) is definitely the sensitive part, but there’s a second little round thing right below it, which isn’t sensitive, and which seems to be connected by just the thinnest bit of what I’m assuming is undissolved suture? Or a bit of flesh? Can anyone help me make sense of this / reassure me it’s normal / tell me it’s not normal. Info for reference: I got PI at GRS Montreal by Laungani, 7 weeks ago as of Monday. So far everything has gone well with the exception of some hypergranulation (which I’m aware of so you don’t have to point it out). Currently Montreal and the TRS department in my local hospital are both closed so I’ve been struggling to stay relaxed and patient about healing without some reassurance.

Thanks :)

Are you sensitive? That’s your focus. Some doctors trend towards the larger clit size with proper hooding, to retain all original sensitivity.

And in other cases, the clit is made tiny.

Cisgender women's anatomy varies greatly from one vulva to the next. Your vulva is not outside of that curve at all.

I have a similar looking clitoris so idk if it is “cis” but you’re definitely not the only one with the extra little bulb thingy. I like to think of it as my clit’s clit lol

LOL I love this. Okay cool good to know it might just live there forever. It doesn’t seem sensitive at all though, is yours?

I’m having troubles with sensitivity in general so I’m not sure I’m the right person to ask about it. When I’m a few months further post op I’ll let you know but at 1.5 months I still don’t have great sensitivity

Ah okay you’re still early too then! Were you at Montreal also?

I hear that 3 months post op is when you should start looking at your vagina for what it will look like for the finalish results. That’s when mine started to calm down and take shape. Before that it was changing everyday I felt like. Lol

Really? I’m pretty confused- and I’ve seen a fair amount of cis women’s vaginas in my life 😅 do you not see the second little clit-looking thing and think it’s odd?

Only Laungani knows, ask him.
