I had work done on my forehead, chin/jaw, and nose a few months ago with Keo.

I'm super happy with my results for the most part! My nose is a little bit uneven right now and I didn't post a picture since it's recognizable and I'm stealth. At my 3month post op keo said this is likely due to my residual swelling and will go away with time. Worst case scenario he's offered a revision for the nose with no charge if necessary, so no real complaints there.

Recovery was pretty rough for the first couple of weeks due to all the swelling and bandages, but the pain wasn't bad at all compared to the gas pain from my bottom surgery.

All in all, I have 0 facial dysphoria now and am living my best life.

Thanks! I look pretty much exactly how I wanted to now 😁 It was all covered by my insurance thankfully, but the total would've been $49,000 without it

I'd rather not say the specific company, but it's a decent sized one in tech

Blue cross blue shield, but my employer specifically has really good trans care that they pay for. Not sure if ffs being covered is standard for bcbs

Can confirm it is not standard. I have Independence Blue Cross (PA) and their policy lists it as "potentially cosmetic", but which appears in practice to mean "we will definitely reject this as cosmetic unless you work somewhere that explicitly writes it in". Currently navigating the terrible appeals process.

I think for BCBS it depends what state you are in. The PPO plan in CA appeared to over it as reconstructive

Definitely, every state is its own thing for BCBS.

Are you in CA? Is it a PPO plan?

I'd rather not say which state I'm in, but yeah it's a ppo plan. My employer covers trans stuff regardless of state
