thisll be my last post for awhile. everything is working well. i can orgasm. they are milder than pre surgery, fyi. still feels good and still feels like a release which is good, and you can kind of ride them out.

i had some granulation inside that they removed at my last appointment. otherwise a lot of inflammation has gone down. hoping it stays away!

ive had penetrative sex with my wife and a strap, and that was nice, but the granulation tissue made it a little uncomfortable. it kind of feels like an internal bruise. so hopefully it resolves. BL says it should resolve even on its own after about 6 more months

visually not much has changed since my last post, and visual changes like swellibg going down has really tapered. so, see you at 1year!

My surgery date with BBL/Z is 9/22 and I'm so excited! Yours looks fantastic.

Haha that's my birthday nice. I just signed up for a consult a few months ago. The wait times are so long. I probably won't be able to have my surgery until 2025 at the earliest barring cancellations

Yeah, that's tough. It's a long, long wait.

it took like a year or two for my consult, and then another year until surgery.

I had an NYU doctor for HRT and she somehow magically hooked me up, so my initial consult was moved from August of 2022 (like, now) to August of 2021. From there I got the surgery date of December 2022, but then they had a cancellation and moved me up to September. What a journey!

Yeah that's what it's looking for me. Roughly exactly 2 years until my consult. I know they do amazing work (case and point, you) so I'll suck it up and wait

Your consult can get bumped up significantly. Would check in with them on a monthly basis.

True. I am planning on being out of country for a bit... So may keep my consult time. Unless it gets bumped up really significantly. Then I might just ditch those plans and fly back

plenty of time to do a LOT of electrolysis

Yeah I just had my second laser session this week. Going to do a few more sessions of laser and then move on to electrolysis to get the rest (just to lower the cost a bit)

Aiming to be fully done by my consultation in case I'm able to get an earlier surgery date.

get your letters in as soon as possible, you might be surprised how much theyll be able to expedite your consult once you have that done. i initially had a consult date in july 2024. once i got my letters in, i was rescheduled to december of this year!

Oh do you can send letters whenever? Doesn't need to be by the time of the consult?. I will need to have been on HRT for 1 year I think before the consultation right? Or just before the surgery? I'll be on 1 year at the end of January

What did you send in? I'm not on 1 year HRT until January 2023. I can get the two therapist letters within a month probably.

My consultation date is currently August 2024 so if that could get shifted to early next year that would be life changing

Sorry for commenting on an old post but I found this because I just got a consult with BBL for 2025. I hope yours has or will go amazing.

Wow, so nice of you to check in. Surgery is done. I'm all bandages down there so I haven't seen her yet, but I hear everything went well.
