Looks great, how has the healing and adjusting to being rid of those things been going?

Thanks! Heeling has been going pretty well, things are approaching normal. Not having them is pretty great!

It was kind of a pain but luckily I was able to find people to write all the letters I needed and my surgeons office was pretty helpful with dealing with my insurance company

What’s the prognosis on the scarring?

It really wasn't that bad, I've had like 0 pain from the incision. The hardest part was dealing with the swelling the first week

2 weeks away from mine! Was just going to message ya to see how healing was going and see you posted an update! Glad things are a bit easier, I'm so nervous about how things will go haha. Did you need alot of help up to this point?

Nice! I definitely did the first into the second week. After that things were a lot easier. Mostly just mobility things, I could move around on my own but not very fast or far, it took like 4 or 5 days before I was comfortable doing stairs

Were people with you 24/7 or did you just have folk check in? I live alone and am trying to get my support all planned out but having someone with me all day is going to be difficult. Afternoon check-ins seem much more feasible.

For the first few days I did, it was kinda hard for me to get out of bed and stand up for long periods of time. After that I didn't need so much help. I live with my wife so I usually had someone there but I don't necessarily NEED someone there all the time after the first few days.

As for driving. It was pretty uncomfortable to sit for more than like 15 minutes until after like 2 weeks. My only specific driving restrictions were like 2-3 days after surgery because of the Anesthesia, but I didn't feel comfy driving after 3 weeks.

Of course, there's like no info out there about it so I figured I'd contribute. Good luck with yours! <3

Did you have driving restrictions? I have a few tattoo appointments that I'd prefer not to make someone play taxi for. (kinda stupid I know but they were booked well before I knew I would be recovering)

Congrats. Looks like you're healing well too. Can I ask why your scar/scab seems to be going up your penis, rather than just at the area where the scrotum used to be? I would've thought they wouldn't need to operate there.

the scrotum particularly goes into the shaft so you have to take that bit off too

I'm sorry if this is inappropriate. From what I've seen from orchis in general I don't think there's been such a big scar but I might be wrong here. It usually doesn't go up to genitals either. Is this just an option of how it might go, or is it because scrotectomy?

It's because of the scrotectomy, the scrotum particularly goes onto the shaft so you have to take that bit off too
