Very interesting. I had no idea this type of procedure was even available. Thanks for sharing!
Me either
I had no idea either!
Who was your surgeon?
Dugi and Dy at ohsu
I had Dy too! I really liked her.
meanwhile me whos wanted this not knowing it actually exists
The more you know š¤Æ
10 months post-op nonbinary āsalmacianā surgery.
FAQ: No I donāt have balls Yes I can get hard I have normalish depth Peritoneal & scrotal graft was used
have you had PIV sex? is it more comfortable than anal? does it work easily without dialation first?
Itās more comfortable than anal for me. I still have some tender spots. It depends on the partners size but yes I have done the sex without dilation first.
congratulations your surgery is really inspiring! thank you for answering my question. hope the tenderness subsides! good luck.
Is it also possible to dilate to fit bigger ones? Do u need to dilate on long term.
It looks very nice š I m about to start hrt and also want to Keep my Penis. This is very interesting
Does this surgeon offer the same surgery yet preserving the testicles?
[deleted]
š„° glad I could help. I remember how hard it was to even learn of this surgeryš°
Yeah! Information that surgery to create non-binary results (of various kinds including this) is just so thin on the ground. I ended up getting a modified standard result and even then I had no idea of my surgeon would agree going into my consult. Knowing what's possible and what the likely tradeoffs are is a good part of the battle. Finding surgeons willing and able to do it and medical systems willing to approve and fund it is the rest.
This is literally my dream result thnks a lot for sharing me I know how do you found a surgeon qualify for this did yo had to take HRT, and how expensive it is? I'm glad for you thanks for sharing š
Itās difficult to find a surgeon, basically have to call around and ask. I met all of the normal qualifications including hrt and presenting fem for years before surgery

How? And how do you know that? I think I am it won't let me comment in anything without taking breaks š„
If you look at your comments without logging in you wonāt see them. I can only see them because Iām a moderator on this sub. You need to get it fixed.

I approved them. Try to see their post history.
this is really interesting thank you for sharing.
how is wearing femme clothing, can you get away with it? e.g. is tucking easier and can you pass wearing something like tights or leggings?
thanks!
It tucks pretty well, but there is still a bit of bulge when Iām wearing super tight stuff
Can you tuck by just putting it inside?
Kinda š¤£
Asking the real questions
Legit tho, it was high on the list of things to try after recovering š
When "go f*** yourself" isn't just an insult anymore.
Legit tho, it was high on the list of things to try after recovering š
Totally understandable even if it didn't work.
would you reccomend this surgery for an ftm bottom? i still want to be able to have vaginal sex but i also badly want a penis due to my bottom dysphoria. i didnāt know that this was an option. would you reccomend?
Nonbinary salmacian surgeries are totally possible for FtM people! I recommend you check out r/salmacian for community.
One user you should check out is u/nbsage ! They had their photos stolen by transphobes so theyāve deleted a number of them (understandably so), but they had phalloplasty and glansplasty with no urethral lengthening, scrotoplasty, or vnectomy. Their setup seems similar to what you want!
Another user you should check out is u/nonbinaryphallo ! They initially kept their natal anatomy and had phalloplasty, scrotoplasty, glansplasty, and urethral lengthening. Now theyāre looking into getting a vnectomy, but their initial journey is still documented on their page!
Thereās a few trans masc folks who have them. They would probably be a better person to ask š„°
This surgery is vaginoplasty with penile preservation, which would not be applicable for you if you have a vagina but not a penis. If you want a penis and a vagina, and currently have a vagina but no penis, you would be looking to get either phalloplasty or metoidioplasty without a vaginectomy. This is a fairly common procedure, and there is no requirement to get a vaginectomy along with phallo/metaāmost people get a vaginectomy just because their vagina gives them dysphoria, but there's no reason why you can't keep it.
If you do forgo vaginectomy, there is an increased risk of complications with urethral lengthening (if you want to pee out of your penis), but these complications are fixable. You just might be looking at having a harder recovery and more surgeries to repair your genitals. But it is still possible, yes.
You can get phallo/meta without getting a vaginectomy, it might be a bit more complicated if you also want UL but if you don't you're set
That looks really good! I'll have to show these to Dr Avanessian when I see her for revision/labiaplasty.
I remember when you were earlier post-op you said your erection angles downward more than before -- is that still true?
So happy to hear you're doing well! š
Ooh let me know how your labia plasti goes Iām still really curious about a more cis appearance š¤£
It has loosened a bit and is easier now days, tho being a top is rare
Did u lose any feeling in your Penis? I saw some pics where is showed there's an area cutted out š¤
I still feel things, tho thereās a chance you will loose some feeling with the surgery
Did they Move any nerves to your vagina?
Sorry for asking this much but your post is was I was looking for since month

Thanks ^
Wow 10 months already looks really good, so how do you feel about it? Any difficulty you had in day to day life with it? I'm really interested in PPV and have considered it for a long time if I can get the chance I think I'd go for it.
The every day dilation. That legit takes a lot of time that folks donāt think about
That's the main thing holding me back from getting bottom surgery.
Iāve seen too many ppl loose all their depth, so really advocating for folks to keep that in mind
Do you mind if I ask how long you have to dilate for (both in terms of daily, and is there ever going to be a point where you don't have to anymore)?
First few months is 3x a day for about 1.5-2h total 3-4months 2x per day recommended at 45 each(I do longer) 6+months 1 session at 45minimum (I do about 1.5-2h)
Jesus thats a lot of time to have to plan arround for the first few monthsi dont known why but i always assumed it was maybe once or twice a day for a few months maybe like 30 minutes each
Usually takes longer than expected šµ
Yea basically forever, but less often as time goes on
Do u need to Keep on dilating?
Where did you get it done? It looks fantastic and Iām totally jealous. I never saw a good picture of one before but that gives me hope
I went to OHSU, there a few surgeons in San Francisco aswell
i am in awe
That's awesome and thanks for sharing! I'd heard a couple of people who referenced this type of surgery third hand but didn't know it was actually now viable. I'm so happy it's now an option for those who want it!
So fucking cool
Did they remove your urethra from your penis? It looks smooth.
Nope, still there
hype im going to ohsu for surgery as well, i wish my dysphoria would allow me to get the same treatment as you because wow thatās the dream but alas my pp must go šŖš
How has it effected tucking? Any standing pics while tucked?
:0 !!!!! This is so cool, Iāve always wondered if it was ever possible and thatās so so incredible it is !!!
I have an Orchi and even before that my stuff stopped working. Kind of amazed you can do that. I imagine in another year what I have will be micro
Ahh yea I try to get hard often but itās difficult for sure, definitely a risk for folks who want to top
difficult
Don“t know if you have seen it ... here was a discussion about a topical application and application for post op people was also discussed there.
And in general keeping levels of e still well in the female range may be advisable. A neovagina may react to estrogen like a cis vagina and with levels in the menopausal range there may be issues like dryness etc., like in menopausal people.
I had no idea this is possible! This is amazing! Thank you so much!
One of the prettiest outcomes Iāve seen!! Congrats babes
Wow this is interesting! I had no idea this was even a thing! Congrats on yours !
Wow thatās awesome. How deep is it? Can you keep your balls if you wanted? Seriously considering to see if Iām an available candidate for this. Thank you for sharing
Keeping balls is a big maybe, they would be in the way. And you would also need an external graft from another area Iām close to normal depth
Yes, you can! We've finally gotten reports from a couple gals who kept theirs this past month u/nuparts
Iād love to see how that looks if they post anywhere. Or if I can contact them lol
That would be really interesting

Not op, but I had an orchiectomy 14 years ago and have been taking estrogen for 20 years. Iāve lost a bit of size, maybe 20%? But it still functions properly. Sometimes to an annoying degree.
This is the first time Ive seen a good PPV result. It is so hard to make a labia when youre working with only scrotal tissue. FtX people have it way easier.
Anyway, congrats with the great aesthetic result. I feel so much better knowing my friend is getting this procedure from him now that Ive seen your results. Also how does it feel to be Dy's first?
FtX people still have the difficulty of trying to create a penis without enough genital tissue to create one. No foreskin and no size difference between erect & flaccid if you go for phallo :( That and the complications with UL and having to have bottom surgery in several stages, but assuming we're only comparing final healed results here
Yea phalo is pretty rough too
FtX people have it way easier.
Not from what I've seen, I've seen a good amount of good ppv results and like 1 option that would give me something similar. There are other options that are easier but they don't achieve something like this
Feels pretty awesome tbh, Iām really happy with the results. And Iām so glad I can share with everyone and help
Haya bun! hugs
Smooch
:D
Can u have sex
Yes, thatās the point š
What surgery is this
PPV

I notice you posted in the detrans sub. Itās a hate sub in disguise and tricks a lot of trans people. The real support sub is r/actual_detrans .
I see that you can still get an erection (awesome). Does penile sex(when you are using your penis) still feel good?
Itās not the same at all š Topping is difficult, and sometimes hurts cause the bottom is too tight
Oof, good to know... that definitely will impact my decision on this possibility for a future surgery desire
I hope you don't mind me asking more questions, but what makes topping difficult? And is there ways to elevate the pain? Or maybe even avoid it all together?
Is this the Same as penile-preserving? I hope this isnt too dumbš
Thanks for sharing and answering all these questions, Iāve never heard of this surgery but itās an amazing option, and the more possibilities for gender diverse people, the better
Wow!! A true unicorn
