You might be dilating a bit wrong if you’ve lost so much depth already.

Just curious but did you get the dilator from your surgeon? I’ve not see those ones before.
Yeah got these dilators from my surgeon I put dots on myself with a marker.
Hiya, apply firm and consistent pressure in and up while you dilate. Do you have various sizes of dilators? Start with the smallest one and use that to work on the depth, holding it in for at least 5 minutes and then working through the rest of increasing girth, also applying pressure.
I started with 5.5 inches and are at 6.5 inches after 3.5 months. There is no pain when I apply pressure but I certainly can feel the end of the dilator stretching my canal.
Also use plenty of lube.
Good luck
Maddie.
Thank you so much, I will do this next time add more pressure and hopefully will get the results next few weeks.
Although the depth is short, your aesthetics are amazing. Can you throw a surgeon name out for all of us?
yes, inquiring minds would like to know the artist that helped you with this!
Hi guys, so I've spoke to my nurse about my depth situation and apparently I wasn't pushing enough pressure so I've actually got 5 inches depth now. Starting to feel happier about it 😄
Your results look amazing! Also I wanna know have were u circumcised prior? I’m considering srs in the future but I want to know if circumcision is going to affect my results
Thank you 😊 no I wasn't circumcised before the op.
Even if you are circumcised I don't think it'll effect the result however you can always get the graft so I wouldn't worry.
Try putting a towel under you that’s folded on the short way (so the towel is long and thin), pull the towel close to you with the dilator in so the towel helps you put pressure on the dilator. That should help with depth. On the outside the surgery looks great! Which surgeon did you go to?
Thank you for the advice 😄
⚠️ I'm not medical provider and you should always ask professionals ⚠️
A few items that I'm finding help between week 14 and now 6 months. One lookup pelvic floor control and exercises it helps. Two try adjust your pelvis angle I find that it helps if I have little back support. Three not sure about your dilators but if they have slightly curved end rotate them a little each direction to help stretch the pocket in back. Four try reinsertion with more lube .. so many times I forget can take it out try again and it's often just what I need. My insertion first bit tends to be little unaligned as I push through/stretch the scar constracture. Which my understanding about 3 month mark.. Dilation was little difficult at very beginning and boring until about 14 weeks for me. Unfortunately I was in mental health and work stress hole and forgot about scar constructure phase and lost a little. Things get difficult at that phase .. and I didn't realize what was happening..
I really wish they did better job in discharge to tell us to watch for it. You get fooled into thinking you got this on easy mode to discover it gets little harder if your checking out like I did. I was on autopilot not getting much sleep and just not paying attention to my body and vagina. Literally like avoided looking or touching or much of anything for like first 4 months. Just get it to depth and do my time.. I regret my lack attention..
Sorry to hear this happened to you. I will look into getting a curved dilator and hopefully will help to increase the depth.
Is this Larner? His work is so noticeable lol
Yes, Dr Tim Larner is my surgeon.
How can you tell it's his work?
What surgeon?
Mr Tim Larner.
Aside from depth, aesthetically it looks amazing.
Thank you 🥹
Wow it looks great!
It looks great! Hopefully if I do get it then mine would look like that
