What did you have done, what’s it cost, and how is the pain?

Standard procedures: Forehead, Brow bone, Rhino and sliding chin forward as well.

Cost: £32K all transport, accommodation and hospital fees. (Prices have increased speaking to other girls here)

Pain worse 3/10. Twinges around stitches and stuffy, blocked nose. Slight dull pain now and again. V managible

What painkillers are you using? How long was the wait list?

Dexketoprofen every 8 hrs and sometimes paracetamol.

I waited a year but I know people who can get in sometimes around 6 weeks

I’ve not come across Dexketoprofen before, but it sounds like a fairly mild painkiller. Nice they use these fancy ultrasonic cutting tools.

Thanks. If that's you before - top left - I'm not sure you needed it! But fingers crossed for your recovery and you get the results you wanted. Best wishes.

Do you have to get a rhinoplasty with ffs or could I just do a brow shave, hairline advancement, and something with my chin?

They don't do hairline advancement here tbh.

But all other procedures can be done separately.

They recommend if the cost benefit is worth the surgery. Some girls didn't get a Rhino whilst others only had brow work etc.

I don’t want my nose to be touched is all, hairline advancement is up there as one of my priority procedures

They do similitaneous hair transplants here instead. Amazing quality of work but some quotes I've heard were approx 7.5K

I need a large area transplanted so I'll go to Turkey for a cheaper, more cost effective hair treatment!

I have one question that has been bugging me - are you staying in the Hotel la Villa they recommended? What's it like? What does it offer?

I'm on day 2, and I'm staying at a 3 bed villa a hundred metres away from Hotel la Villa, just wondering what I'm missing out on 😅

Yeh I'm staying at La Villa Marbella. I don't know if I'd recommend it if you had help from others travelling with you. But its been nice to be in the local social group and support meetings. (I've only been to 1 pre op)

I'm travelling with my parents. They have an AirBnB literally next door to the reception!! If you have support from others, during youre recovery, I don't think it's worth it. (I'm in my parents lounge as they have a TV that has Netflix 😅) So an Airbnb is better value for money.

Travelling alone defo worth it !!! With support, no not really

Yeah, saw that it was going to be close to €3k to come with my mum so found an AirBnB for half the price really close by, but wasn't told I wouldn't be allowed to join in any group/social things until after I'd booked the AirBnB :(

Good luck with your recovery! I'm not a medical professional but the improvement from day 1 to day 3 is looking good! 🥰

The room I got at Marbella had Netflix and everything in it

As for recovery it gets much better at day 5, and the nurse visiting the rooms everyday is also great addition.
The hotel food is horrible tho

And I suggest to go out as much as possible for walks and with others girls for foods! I had such a good experience I didn't wanna leave.
And highly suggest the french crepe shop in the old town (my favorite was chicken crepe)

If you're staying at LVM, do you have any TV channels in English besides CNN? I think I'm a day behind you (rhino/bleph/trach shave) & it's all I've got.

Best of luck with your recovery too!

How are you feeling now? You're a couple days ahead of me so I'm hoping you're doing well :) I was really surprised how much energy I had today considering yesterday was my lowest day.
