I suspect it might take a month to be pretty. Newborn kittens tend to need a few weeks to grow before they look their cutest :)

It was more than a month in my experience, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Congrats! I’m sure it is. :) Wow, that’s a lot of post-op dressing. It’s so interesting to see the wound drainage in action. What is the white thing around your legs if I might ask?

It’s just a clip to keep the catheter from being polled

I mean the plastic thing where the catheter is sitting on. And thank you for answering questions! I will have my surgery soon and I’m so excited.

I'm 38 and transitioning. It makes me happy seeing others later in life also going through the same journey I am.

3-4 yrs. Wow. Try Dr Del Corral. I heard he is getting more popular but I had my pre op in November. Scheduling for the next year was in January and I was scheduled for April. (I made my appointment for the pre-op in August or September). All told, everything was under a year. Note: I had my lived experience/HRT year done and my two letters before I contacted his office as per his website instructions.

Congratulations!!

Glad to see they have your drain tubes decently held in place. Mine were a bit too unsecured and got tugged at one point, the pain was SIGNIFICANT.

Hope your recovery goes smoothly!

That’s what they are? I thought they were like some weird overie or testicul holder or something. I’ve never really seen them before but they look like funny douches full of blood or something

Congratulations! - Aside from my best wishes for a speedy and complications-free recovery, all I can say is that I am soooooo ENVIOUS that you had the courage, support and resources to make this happen, and that this is behind you now. How AWESOME! - Here’s to much happiness and joy in the years ahead!😍❤️🔥❤️🔥

Did you have colon or PPV vaginoplasty? You look like you got bandages around your belly area. And is that blood on your shirt/top?

It’s a tie-dye top, and I had the penile inversion, and those are compression bandages to keep the swelling down

Takes about six months to a year, but it will get better. At six months I was told it was "Finished healing" but I'm still noticing swelling going down at 8 months.
