Sorry but weren’t they supposed to sew the flesh closed?

Yes, it was stitched but the wound opened up. That's the complication we weren't expecting.

It's ok, it will heal.

That would isn't going to close per say. It's going to heal through Second Intention. It's going to take a long time to heal as well.

Yeah, that's why I put it last. Scary but I figured I owed it to everyone to show it.

Dr. Nabeel Shakir at Henry Ford in Detroit Michigan

Thanks. This is the second review for Dr Shakir here.

Could you expand on your experience? Would you recommend him to others? What was the cost, wait list, pain, etc.

Of Course!

Cost varies greatly based on your insurance policy but I think it was 24k before the negotiated price.

I hardly had a wait at all I think it was 2 or 3 months after my consult. Luckily Dr. Shakir hasn't blown up yet.

Pain was minimal, I was pretty uncomfortable for the first week but that's because of swelling. My energy has been all over the place. Some days I just sleep all day, but my body is still doing alot of healing so I guess that makes sense.

My initial post has some of my experience as well.

Hi, when did you get that piercing? After the surgery or before it?

I got it before. Highly recommend it, I'll always have one of these piercings

Respectfully, how did you have it before and how were they able to surgically include it like this?

This surgery just removes the testicles and scrotum so there wasn't any involvement that high up. It was taken out during surgery and put back in post-op
