You healed a lot better than me. I ended up with some granulation tissue alone the suture lines. How’s your sensation?

Decent but it's not completely back yet. I was lucky to have a partner/caretaker with RN knowledge and an interest in wound care.

In that case do you have any advice to improve healing lol?

Cleaning regularly is important. Ive been showering with a scent free soap after every dilation, currently 4x a day. Early on I used peroxide applied with a cotton applicator/qtip on my stitches, washing that off with saline, then applying Neosporin and appling aquacel. Once my stitches came out and I was approved to by Dr. Bluebond-Langner I started using scar cream and a jade roller twice a day: 1st and 4th dilations. I also apply medihoney to the small separation I have to prevent infection. Hope that helps!

Does the separation cause any issue with urination? Like possibly risk of infection or anything?

You healed up remarkably well and you look amazing. I definitely hope that my own vaginoplasty goes as well as yours has once I am able to get it.

Thank you for your kind words. Staying clean is definitely important. I put medihoney in the separation after I dilate to reduce risk of infection. Earlier in recovery I used a saline wash to clean after using the restroom.
