I consulted 5 surgeons total but waited it out and it was worth the wait. I knew if I went elsewhere and something went wrong I wouldn't forgive myself for it.
That's how I feel. RBL is my ONLY choice I'll wait as long as it takes!
Can I ask two questions! Did she do follicle scraping? And how strict was she on your full time caretaker plan?
- yes but I got 60 hours of electro and 12 sessions of laser in the lead up so I didn't really have much hair to worry about and 2. I'll be strict about it, you need someone around 24/7 for 3 weeks in case you have a random stitch pop and bleed out. Major bleed episodes happen too often to tell anyone to do otherwise.
Fair enough. I have two or three friends in queue willing to commit to full time caretaking, and I pay their expenses, etc, but is there a screening or vetting NYC requires for that individual?

I've been pretty normal since 1 month postop, just finding the latent soreness under the skin in the area annoying eg if I push on my labia it's sore like.an overworked muscle vs pushing on thigh is fine.
I hope your soreness will go away quickly 🤗 you are still pretty early
update: 2 weeks latef and soreness is mostly gone, pus fully online

Mine was free with insurance (my lupron shots maxed my oop) but staying in Manhattan 3 weeks still cost like 6k overall.

I'm stuck on dilation 😭 it's sooo hard to keep holding it in.
Once it's in I don't need to push? Just block it from falling out.
That's the hardest part! It pops right out and my hand falls apart

The care team is great! I love Kevin (he's one of the people that teaches you how to dilate)
He's leaving soon, though he's still there for patients this month so far.
