I’ll comment for follow this post. I’m almost 15 months post op and I still have blood sometimes after dilation and sex…I’m little tired of this

I needed both silver nitrate and steroid cream combined over several weeks to resolve mine. X

What ointment did you get? I was prescribed triamcinolone acetonide but nothing has really resolved the bump in the back.

I think it was Betnovate, prescribed by my surgeon. The instructions said to use for no more than 2-weeks at a time, but I was using it once a day for nearly 2-months.

I'd apply a pease-sized blob internally every night after my dilation and douche.

It took me 18 months to get mine sorted. It's fucking horrible and simply a matter of hitting it with silver nitrate/steroidal creams until it buggers off.

I have heard of people using Dr. Power's testosterone cream once or twice a week to aid healing.

That sounds very un fun... have you gone through any of the ointment treatments or had a minor surgery recommended yet?

HiddenStill might know if anybody had similar issue and how they fixed. They have been reading many threads for years. Good luck.

Standard treatment is silver nitrate, and it’s if not healed after a year or so you’re probably looking at some kind of revision surgery.

options

Here may be more, and also here . Talk it through with your med persons in case.

And looking for local med people who are experienced with trans people may also be recommendable. Asking at lgbt places or support groups for a referral may be a good idea.
